1.12.10 Picture 10/365

Still so strange to have a child who is driving.
My little girl is all grown up!  :)
She picks me up at work every day.

A Dallas High Rise.
We spent the day at the Dallas Museum of Art
with my students.  This skyscraper is next door.
The kids I have don't go to downtown Dallas much.
They were amazed at the size of this building.
I love seeing the world through the eyes of a child.
Iphone photo....edited with Photoshop Elements.

1.6.2010 Picture 6/365

This picture is yet another IPhone picture  manipulated with the FX Photo Studio App.
I wish I could manipulate where the splash of light begins so that I could put it on their lips!

1.5.2010 Picture 5/365

This is an IPhone photo taken after 3 weeks of potato growth.
I was helping a student investigate if a potato would grow/sprout better in direct sunlight or a dark cabinet.

You guess which result this one was. ....the other potato had very tiny dark growths amounting to maybe 3mm in height.

Hypothesize on your own and then investigate.  Its a very simple experiment.

Our Science Fair is January 21st.

1.3.2010 Picture 3/365

Playing Cards:
This picture was taken with my IPhone and then texture was added with the IPhone App "Photo Studio".

I chose this picture because today is the last day of Winter Break and this symbolizes our family time.
We've enjoyed learning how to play Spades.
Jade even taught us her own card game.  Its a game she made up "But it doesn't have a name yet".
So much fun just relaxing and being a family.

1.2.2010 Picture 2/365

I like this picture for two reasons:
I love how Willow is looking at Tess, sort of admiring her groomer.  I also love the background.
There sits Saphira, longing to be the one being groomed.
Willow is 4 months; Saphira is 3 years old.
Tess, the little groomer is 9.

Taken with my Lumix/Panasonic DMC FZ18 on auto setting.
My goal is to utilize my manual settings as I progress this year as a photographer.

365/2010 Experience

While searching online I came across a wonderful idea.
Take one photo a day for the 365 days of 2010.
A photo record of the year 2010.
In this post I will share with you 365 days in the life of the Raiten Family.
